Diploma in Visual Communication / Graphic Design at FH Düsseldorf, Germany. Have worked mostly as a freelance art director / self-employed the past ten years. Focus on conceptual work, corporate identity, books, magazines, brochures etc.
I love typography and working on bi-cultural / bi-lingual projects. I love the challenge and beauty of working with Arabic typography and am very interested in learning more about the subject. I am currently working on a schoolbook project about religious diversity which is being published in English, French and Arabic.
I first moved to Cairo in early 2003, went back to Germany several times and am now finally settling down here.
